The magnificent church of the village, which was constructed to the south of the church of Panagia tis Katholiki, is consecrated to the Apostolos Pavlos, whom the village and the Apostolos Petros commemorate on June 29. This 1973-built temple is remarkable not only for its grandeur but also for its location. It has a cupola and a three-aisled cruciform shape. The inscription on the north wall indicates that the church was formally consecrated by the Metropolitan of Paphos Chrysostomos on July 4, 1976. Temples of this magnitude are predominantly situated in urban areas and infrequently encountered in rural locales. This demonstrates the inhabitants’ devotion to the Church and Saints, in addition to the village’s expanding population.
