About the Ruins
Additionally, there are chapel ruins in the “Pefkos” region of western Pano Pachna, which are likely those of Agios Georgios. During this period, the women adorned bushes and trees with handkerchiefs or other articles of apparel. North of the village, in the vicinity of Sklinikas, are the remnants of the church dedicated to Agios Georgios or the Apostle Luke, which was venerated on Bright Monday. An adjacent location to the north, along the Ha River, stands an abandoned church that is dedicated to Agios Theodoros. Efforts are being undertaken to restore this chapel. From the entire structure, only the north and south walls, in addition to the alcove of the Holy Step, have been preserved.
